On 11th November 2007, at the Wadebridge Model Railway Exhibition, Bernie Porter and his team established a new Hornby '0' Gauge record by running a goods train hauled by ten clockwork engines. Yes, ten! Photographs were, of course, taken but unfortunately due to the crowd around the layout, and the height of the display in the middle, it was not possible to have all ten engines in shot together. In the two photos below the first has locos one to six whilst the second one has locos six to ten, plus the first few trucks. As is obvious, they were moving pretty fast!   |
